Counseling and Consultation Services (CCS)

Group therapy is an effective treatment modality to treat symptoms of depression, anxiety, adjustment to the university and a host of additional mental health and addiction concerns. For many students, it can be as effective as individual therapy. For others, it can be a way to enhance treatment outcomes and combat social isolation. Group therapy works to increase social connectedness which is an important aspect of academic and personal success.

There are many groups offered through Counseling and Consultation Service that address a variety of student concerns. All students are eligible for group therapy. Please check back for our Fall 25 Group Therapy options. If you are interested in group therapy now, please schedule a time to speak with a CCS counselor. We will be happy to talk about upcoming opportunities and recommend a group based on your goals for therapy.
