Make a Career Coaching Appointment

Career coaching is an opportunity for all students to seek individualized advice and answers regarding careers, internships, graduate or professional school and transitioning from student to professional. Whether seeking academic, post-doctoral or non-academic careers, Graduate and Professional students can utilize coaching appointments. Our career coaches will help you clarify your goals, explore personal concerns and develop an individualized career plan. Students can also use career coaching to get feedback on resumes/CVs and cover letters, as well as practice interviewing skills.

To make an appointment:

1. Log-in to your Handshake account
2. Click “Career Center”
3. Click “Appointments”
4. From there, you will be able to schedule an appointment with a Buckeye Commons Career Coach

All Ohio State undergraduate, graduate, professional and post-doctoral students have free access to Handshake through their @osu.edu email address. For questions regarding your Handshake access, please contact handshake@osu.edu.
